The past three weeks have been very eventful and tearful as a string of celebrities have passed away. However, two particular incidents have caught my attention, and I want to know if this is a trend. First, NFL quarterback Steve McNair was found murdered by his mistress, and more recently, Arturo Gatti, a former boxing champion, was found strangled to death in Brazil, allegedly by his wife. These two tragic incidents makes me raise several questions.
- Have relationships gotten so bad that they can't be dealt with in a civil manner?
- What is provoking these murders?
- Wouldn't it just be easier to leave rather than go to the extreme?
- Does a fed up person show signs or do they just react spontaneously?
I just hope this does not become a trend. Let LOVE conquer all, and make it work.
